The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria::
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?:
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
(Note: Spaces have been left 'to-be-announced' at the end, this is because some of my goals might change in the next 1001 days, or new things might pop up I'd like to do. All goals must be set and *final* by 16 March 2010, 1 yr before my end date.)
Start Date:: Wednesday, 18 June 2008
End Date:: Wednesday, 16 March 2011

# 29. Become a Registered Organ Donor Register as an organ donor, so that when the inevitable end comes (hopefully some time in the distant future) I will be able to help someone else, cause I surely won't need my heart/lungs/kidneys/anything else, anymore. Updates: 18-06-08: Went to http://www.transplantni.com/ and registered, it could take some time to get my donor card, but I've done all I can for now. GOAL COMPLETE!mood: pleased |
